Getting ready forThanksgiving

After butchering four rabbits we sent 21 Cornish-rock chickens and three turkeys to be butchered. I don't do the chickens and turkeys as that would be too much work without a chicken plucker, maybe that will be next years purchase. The turkeys were two Tom's and one hen, their breed is red heritage bourbon. They are beautiful turkeys and we have five left. Three turkeys weighting 8 1/2, 14, and 16 lbs. I cooked the 8 pounders last Saturday and realized I didn't cook it long enough also on Thanksgiving I will not stuff the turkey. I continued to cook the Turkey Monday and it was absolutely delicious. Hope Thanksgiving meal turns out great.
